THE ROLE
The new FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER, as a functional report of the Corporate CFO and as well as a hierarchical report of the CEO of the Company, will have the goal to
- Be accountable for the Finance and Controlling operations of the Company, monitoring the Business performance and ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of result
- Build up a strong understanding of Business dynamics, ensuring Business Financial Planning processes and Strategically capture Business impacting events
- Anticipate changes, seek better practices and contribute to the Company growth, acting as a true Business Partner
- Analyze and guarantee the reliability of the Finance and Legal/Tax compliance
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1- ACCOUNTING
- Oversee the Company’s transactions, including accurate records for all daily transactions, Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, Credit Collection, Inventory
2- CONTROLLING
- Implement and maintain Controlling measures related to P&L and Balance Sheet items (with special focus on Profitability and Working Capital optimization)
- Manage Budgeting and Forecasting bottom-up process: envisioning, data collection from all departments, challenge the improvement, Planning, consolidation, presenting relevant reports to the Company’s Management and Parent Company’s Management
- Perform periodic Financial analyses as requested by the Company’s Management or Parent Company’s Management with the aim to maximize Business efficiency and challenge improvements
- Analyze variances against budget, forecast and prior year, suggesting adequate corrective actions where needed
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the Company’s actual performance compared to the budget, forecast and prior year
- Monitor Cash Balances and Cash Forecasts
3- INTERNAL CONTROL
- Support then set up the appropriate and reliable Internal Control system, ensuring that the Company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Guarantee the application of the Corporate DOA policy
4- BUSINESS SUPPORT
- Fully support the Company’s Directors in order to reach the economic objectives, being responsible of the key economic indicators, guaranteeing the data and information reliability of the same
- Develop performance analyses: prepare KPI’s, track key performance measures for the different divisions and product Corporates and implement indicators improvement
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
5- REPORTING
- Report accurate Financial results and timely prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Financial reports in line with the Corporate requirements
- Provide Financial analysis and interpreting Financial information to the local management while recommending further courses of action
- Support the enhancement and compliance of Business Finance processes, standards and systems
REQUIREMENTS
- Master Degree in Economics (High school Degree in Accounting is considered a plus)
- 2+ years of proven work experience in Business Controlling and related accounting areas, ideally within an international environment
- 3+ years of Big 4/Consulting Firms experience in Finance, M&A Due Diligence, Transaction Services
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with ERP and Business Intelligence (having been part of an ERP implementation project is considered a plus)
- Italian mother tongue and strong English written and oral communication skills
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
